get to the last day of the Dalai Lama\u2019s teachings in Leh.\u00a0 For the first three we were holed up in our hotel catching the Olympics when the power was on, and generally recovering from several days of hair-raising travel up into the Himalaya.<\/p>\n<p>His Holiness comes every few years and the whole valley stops \u2026 even the doctor we had come to the hotel suggested he couldn\u2019t do any visits until the afternoon, when the teachings finished for the day.\u00a0 The bustling town emptied, the fields emptied, literally everyone attended, even us non-Buddhists, on
